Dr. Kennen (she/her) is a proud Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP) alumni and re-joined the department as an Associate Director in 2022. In this role, she oversees admissions and dissertation research.
Prior to her return to GIPP, Dr. Kennen worked for over a decade in college mental health as a clinician and served as the Director of Training for a practicum and post-doctoral program.
Her clinical interests include attachment, sexuality and sexual identity, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, bereavement, psychodynamic theory, and ethical supervision and training.
She is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Connecticut.
Dr. Kennen currently teaches Case Conference Seminar, Foundational Skills in Clinical Practice, and Intake and Treatment Planning.
