Carroll has been teaching at the University in various capacities for the past 25 years. She earned her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in human sexuality education and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Denison University. She is the author of Sexuality Now: Embracing Diversity, a popular college-level textbook, now in its 7th edition. Carroll is a Certified Sexuality Educator and Certified Life Coach with research interests in sexuality, gender, menstruation/menopause, and health & wellness. She is teaching undergraduate courses in introductory psychology, human sexual behavior, and the psychology of gender.
