About the Program

This program will teach you how to create business value through the coordination of resources and processes across multiple entities in a supply chain.  Students gain valuable analytical skills in the planning, execution and control of sourcing, production, and fulfillment processes of products from point of origin to point of consumption.

Supply Chain and Logistics Management is offered as a:

• Major
• Minor (for both Barney and non-Barney students)
• Post Baccalaureate Certificate

Degree Requirements

The program combines core courses, specialized courses, electives, and an internship. You will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. 

This major prepares you by teaching the core methods and processes used to coordinate the flow of goods and services and orchestrate resources across multiple entities in a supply network.

Career Outlook

The career outlook for entry-level college graduates in supply chain & logistics management is strong, with robust job growth driven by increasing global demand for goods and services. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects employment in supply chain-related occupations to grow significantly, with logistics and supply chain roles expected to increase by about 4% through 2029.  Graduates can expect competitive starting salaries typically ranging from $55,000 to $70,000, and numerous opportunities for advancement, particularly for those who pursue relevant certifications and develop essential skills.

Graduates from the program can take on numerous roles within the various functions within supply chain & logistics management such as: Procurement Analyst, Sourcing Coordinator, Demand Planner, Materials Manager, Distribution Supervisor, Logistics Analyst, Transportation Analyst, and Supply Chain Manager.

About the Minor

A minor in Supply Chain & Logistics Management will allow students to gain core knowledge of the methods and processes used to coordinate the flow of goods and services and orchestrate resources across multiple entities in a supply network. Visit our course catalog for specific requirements.

About the Post Baccalaureate Certificate

A post baccalaureate certificate will allow students who currently have a bachelor’s degree to gain working knowledge of the methods and processes used to coordinate the flow of goods and services and orchestrate resources across multiple entities in a supply network. Visit our course catalog for specific requirements.

Signature Events

The program hosts a special networking and professional development event once per semester where students, faculty, and industry professionals meet and share their knowledge on a relevant topic in the field (e.g., supply chain resilience, AI in supply chain planning, sustainability, supplier diversity, warehouse automation).
