About the Minor

Barney Marketing Majors
Required courses:
- Digital Marketing – 3 Credits
- Digital Marketing Analytics – 3 Credits
- Marketing Analytics or Marketing Communications
- Making Sense of Social Media * – 3 Credits
*Student can replace the course with Introduction to Digital Media Production (CMM 214-prerequisite: CMM 110)

Barney Non-Marketing Majors

Non-Barney Students
Required courses:
- Introduction to Marketing – 3 Credits
- Consumer Behavior – 3 Credits
- Digital Marketing – 3 Credits
- Digital Marketing Analytics – 3 Credits
- Marketing Analytics or Marketing Communications – 3 Credits
Prerequisites for non-Barney students are:
- EC101 Economics
- M114 Everyday Statistics or other approved Mathematics course
Other Requirements
- All of the required and elective courses for the minors must be taken for a letter grade.
- Student must have a 2.0 overall GPA and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA for courses in the minor.
- Courses cannot be double counted between 2 or more minors, students must take unique courses.
