The Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies is designed for the student entering college for the first time or entering with fewer than 60 academic credits. This is an online program, one of the first of its kind in the country.
About the Program
This online program will allow students to utilize their education and skills in a variety of legal settings. Paralegals are an important part of the legal team. They conduct legal research, draft articles of incorporation, draft wills, interview clients – to name a few tasks. They keep abreast of legal trends, and updates in the law. The paralegal field is a fast-growing industry that extends beyond the law firm into banks, real estate, insurance companies, non-profits, and more.

Andrea Golino, Paralegal Studies GraduateThe Paralegal Studies program at University of Hartford is an excellent option for anyone looking to further their career in the legal field. All the faculty, especially Sharron Dillon and Regina Graziani, do everything they can to ensure that their students succeed. Even after graduating, I still get emails from Sharron and Regina, including job opportunities and tips to help me in my career as a paralegal. I would not be in my current position without this program.
