Aerospace Engineering Program Receives ABET Accreditation

CETA’s aerospace engineering program has officially received accreditation from ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. This distinction also leads to more career opportunities. The only program of its kind in Connecticut, the aerospace engineering program offers students the opportunity to learn technical concepts relevant to aerospace engineering and design.

UHart Students’ Balloon Grabs a Front-Row Seat for the Eclipse

Thousands of people took to the roads on April 8 to catch the solar eclipse—and one group of UHart students and faculty had a closer look than most. 13 students and three faculty members from CETA headed into the path of totality to launch two high-altitude balloons: one from the campus of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and a second balloon from Oak Ridge, Missouri.
