The Center for Community Service is able to provide transportation for any student who would like to volunteer at local agencies and programs within Hartford, West Hartford, and Bloomfield.
The Community Service Van is available seven days a week between the hours of 8:30 am - 7pm. Be aware that in case of inclement weather, van service may be suspended for safety reasons. The calendar below indicates the times when the community service van is in use.
The van is not for public transportation and is only available for University of Hartford students looking to volunteer in Bloomfield, Hartford, or West Hartford. Please submit requests by completing the form below with as much advanced notice as possible; requests must be submitted at least 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Any weekend and Monday requests must by submitted by Friday at 10 am. No same day requests are permitted. When reserving the van, make allowances for travel time and traffic. Submitting a request form does not guarantee that a driver will be available to fulfill your request. Accommodations will be made according to staff availability.
