The University is currently operating on a normal schedule.
More than 400 fourth and fifth-graders from the Hartford area will visit the University of Hartford on Tuesday, Nov. 13, to attend the fifth annual “Wonders of the Human Body Science Fair.” They will have the opportunity to judge interactive exhibits designed by students in the University’s College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP). The winners will be announced during the “Kids Choice Awards” ceremony at the end of the fair, which is being held in the Great Room of the Konover Campus Center.
Students can conduct self-directed virtual tours of the digestive system, heart, skeleton and other body parts in an interactive format.
Each student will leave the science fair with new knowledge of “The Wonders of the Human Body” and will receive a souvenir bag with a grade level appropriate book on the functions of the human body and other health-related items.
