Visitor and Guest Parking

While we request that all visitors and guests at the University register their vehicles with Public Safety prior to parking, visitors and guests of the University are always welcome to park in any space marked as Visitor Parking, which are in limited sections of lots A, B, and D. Visitors may also park in K-Visitor parking lot by the Harry Jack Gray Center. Please call Public Safety at 860.768.7985 or stop in at our offices located across from Lincoln Theater in parking lot E to register your car or to seek assistance.

NO PERMITS NEEDED FOR PATRONS OF ARTS AND ATHLETICS EVENTS
Patrons of arts and athletics events on campus are  free to park in lot F in front of Lincoln Theatre in addition to the following: those attending Hartt events in Fuller Music Center may park in non-reserved spaces of lots C and D. Parking for sporting events is located in lot M, located adjacent to Alumni Stadium and behind the Sports Center complex.

ON OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY BUSINESS
If you are a visitor on official University business, such as a guest lecturer, you should preregister your vehicle with the sponsoring department at the University. A staff member from the sponsoring department will then request of Public Safety, on your behalf, a  VIP parking dashboard permit for your vehicle. This permit  will be e-mailed to you, along with a parking map prior to your arrival on  campus (time permitting) to make your parking experience quick and easy.

IF YOU HAVE A CITATION ON YOUR VEHICLE
If you arrive back at your vehicle to find a citation has been issued, we were unaware of your vehicle on campus. You can either stop in at Public Safety before you leave campus, or call our Parking Services Division at 860.768.7865 (weekdays, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.). For 24-hour access, please use our guest appeal information.

Nothing captures the beauty of the University of Hartford campus like walking it. However, for those who can't be here in person, a virtual tour of our scenic 350-acre campus is the next best thing.
