Bryson Owens is a senior Communications major here at the University of Hartford. He is originally from South Jamaica Queens, but now resides in Eastern Long Island, NY. Bryson has been a member of the Student Government Association since his freshman year, where he served as the Hawk Hall Senator. He later went on to serve under the Executive Vice President, as the Associate Vice President. Bryson was later elected as the Public Relations Vice President for his junior year and is excited to serve as the President of the student body for his senior year. Bryson hopes to stay true to his platform which is to be a President for the students. Any issues the students at the University identifies with is his top priority. He hopes to engage with the student body in order to produce an open dialogue between the student body and the incoming administration. As he approaches his last year, Bryson hopes to leave an everlasting mark at the University of Hartford that'll impact future students. Aside from being in SGA, Bryson is a Resident Assistant in Hawk Hall - Community Service and an orientation leader here at the University. In his free time, Bryson enjoys filming and editing videos, watching different television series and appreciates multiple genres of music.
