Sustainability Rules!In the last 10 years or so, the University of Hartford has begun thinking green thoughts. Although much remains to be done, significant progress has been made. The University has made a definite commitment to sustainability and is currently developing a comprehensive energy policy for the future.
In January 2008, five University of Hartford engineering students and Associate Professor David Pines arrived in Abheypur, India. They had come to install a solar-powered well to give the villagers a reliable source of drinking water.
