UHart Hosts First Fall 2023 Open House

Group of people on campus

The University of Hartford hosted its first of three fall Open Houses Oct. 1 as a sunny day and enthusiastic Red Key tour guides and staff welcomed visitors to campus.

Close to 200 potential students and their families had the opportunity to witness our vibrant community in action. The amount of students present at this first event exceeded in-person attendance over the past few years--kicking off an exciting application season!

The format of the day allowed students to choose the activities that appealed to them and their college search priorities, including a resource fair, campus tours, information sessions, college programming, and more. The day gave potential students and their families a great glimpse into their life as a future student, and was a great opportunity for them to discover UHart as a right-fit school.

Shane Ciccarelli, dean of admission, shared the enthusiasm of the students and families who visited.

“The start of a new admission season is always an exciting time, and that energy was certainly felt at our first Open House. All of us, from staff and current students to faculty, enjoyed the opportunity to meet prospective students and their families, and to share with them the amazing offerings and qualities of UHart's campus and community,” said Ciccarelli.

Students have two more opportunities to visit campus at our scheduled Open Houses on October 15 and November 5. Students interested in attending can register here
