In the first segment of a two-part interview, Michael Crosbie, associate professor and chair of the Department of Architecture in the University of Hartford's College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture, talks about the undergraduate and graduate architecture degree programs at the University in light of the dramatic changes occurring in the field. He discusses sustainable architectural design; careers in architecture; and the growing international reputation of the University's architecture program.
Crosbie also talks about his own background in the field and about his writings on architecture, including several children's books and a pioneer work on "green architecture.".
