As part of the University's ongoing Banner revitalization initiative, we are dedicated to identifying and implementing electronic opportunities across our campus in an effort ot more effectively utilize technology, create greater institutional efficiencies as well as provide positive benefits to our environment. One of the first processes identified as a part of this initiative was the transition of our cumbersome paper-based Personnel Action Form (PAF) to an electronic process.
Banner HR, the University of Hartford's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), allows designated end users to electronically process standard personnel actions such as hiring or making changes via an electronic Personnel Action Form (ePAF). This paperless process also allows for the intuitive workflow system to notify users of pending actions as well as the ability to check the status of ePAFs at any time.
