Musician, audio engineer and producer, Matt Baltrucki holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music Technology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and a Masters degree in Sound Recording from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.

As a producer, recording and mixing engineer, Matt has, and continues to work with ensembles across many diverse styles of music, from period ensembles of the Renaissance and Baroque, to contemporary tango, punk, metal, choir, and traditional and modern classical.

In 2011, Matt was an audio engineering fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center and in 2012, he worked for the Boston Symphony Orchestra as Associate Audio Engineer. In working with the BSO, Matt was able to work with many renown international artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, James Taylor, Edgar Meyer, The Emerson String Quartet and many others.

In 2016, Bogotá - Buenos Aires, an album by Colombia-based tango ensemble Quinteto Leopoldo Federico, engineered by Mr. Baltrucki, was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Tango Album. Mr. Baltrucki's audio for video post-production credits include numerous programs for the Outdoor Channel.

Matt currently holds titles of adjunct faculty in Music Production and Technology and Recording Studio Coordinator at the Hartt School.
