WHAT IS PHILANTHROPY?
Philanthropy is defined as promoting the welfare of others, through the donation of goods, services, time, or money. The word “philanthropy” is rooted in the Greek language: “philo” means love, and “anthros” is the root for mankind. Philanthropy comes in many different forms—but they all express kindness and promoting the well-being of others.
