Montessori Studies Information Sessions
Have you considered becoming a Montessori teacher? Our Montessori education concentration programs pair the University of Hartford’s curriculum with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teacher training, putting students on course to earn an internationally-recognized AMI diploma by the time they graduate. The programs are a partnership between the University of Hartford and the Montessori Training Center Northeast, an AMI-teacher training center managed by the Capitol Region Education Council. Montessori Mixers

Join current students and alumni of MTCNE and the University of Hartford Montessori degree programs along with other members of the local Montessori community for a refreshing pause from the day to day routine.  See old friends and make new connections. Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

 The University of Hartford’s Center for Montessori Studies and the Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE) are hosting a free online workshop titled "Research and Advocacy: Montessori Teacher Experiences and Professional Pathways." Geared toward Montessori practitioners, educators working on their Association of Montessori Internationale (AMI) teacher training, and Montessori administrators, the workshop will provide the opportunity to:

  • Learn about research illuminating the Montessori teacher experience
  • Explore the data that informs professional pathways, including state licensure
  • Find out more about the ways advocates use data and call for further research
