ENHP Alumnus, David Bosso, is 2012 Connecticut Teacher of the Year

David Bosso, who earned a Master’s degree in Educational Computing and Technology from the University of Hartford in 2004, is the 2012 Connecticut Teacher of the Year.  As a Social Studies teacher at Berlin High School, Bosso aims to increase his students’ global awareness, appreciation for the enduring influence of history and culture, and understanding of current issues.

Travel grants that have taken him to Egypt, Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia, China, and Ghana illustrate his work toward developing students’ global competency.  For his efforts in the classroom and beyond, he was recognized by the Connecticut Council of the Social Studies for its Excellence in Social Studies Education award in 2009.
