Masters in Nursing Management

Attend our next university-wide graduate open house or an information session held periodically in the nursing office in Auerbach Hall.

In a rapidly changing healthcare environment, there is a compelling need for nurse leaders in all aspects of health care. The Nursing Management curriculum focuses on principles of leadership and administration with specific emphasis on application to nursing. The program provides a theoretical and practical approach to prepare nurses for advanced positions of nurse leaders/managers in acute care, long-term care, and community settings.

Through scholarly projects, creative partnerships with faculty, clinical experiences, and selection of relevant cognate courses, you have the opportunity to personalize your program of study to meet your individual career goals.

You can complete your degree in 2,3, or 4 years on a part-time basis depending upon whether you enroll in one or two courses each semester and summer.
