Human Resources Classes

The Office of Human Resources Development (HRD) conducts an annual Supervisory Training Program which is designed to assist supervisors in understanding University policies and procedures that apply to the majority of their managerial responsibilities. Over the years, these training sessions have helped HRD develop partnerships with our supervisors throughout the University, and the feedback we’ve received indicates this program has been invaluable to those who have attended.

Our first session will cover the University’s overall Employment and Hiring Process including internal job posting procedures, recruiting strategies, interviewing techniques and effective new employee orientation and on-boarding. This session is designed to be informative as well as interactive. We will also provide you with helpful handouts that you are encouraged to retain and use for the next vacancy in your department.

Below you will find the entire Spring 2013 training schedule.
