Adam Stankiewicz, 20, of Wethersfield, Conn., is on the U.S. Boomerang Team, and will be traveling to Perth, Australia, to compete in the 2014 World Boomerang Cup early this month.

Stankiewicz, a junior at the University of Hartford studying computer science, competed in the last international competition in 2012, which was held in Brazil, and has been throwing a boomerang for the last four years.

Stankiewicz recently practiced his tosses at Mill Woods Park in Wethersfield, and the Hartford Courant was there to photograph it. The Courant featured Stankiewicz in a photo gallery on March 27. Click here to see it.
