Faculty and Staff Awarded More Than $1.8 Million in Grants

University of Hartford faculty and staff were awarded $1,800,764 in grants and contracts in fiscal year 2013. Additionally, awards for the Hartford Scholars program totaled $22,000.

The recipients of those awards, and the funding organizations, were honored recently at the annual External Funding Recognition Reception held at the President’s home (Russell House). The reception was sponsored by the Office of the President, Office of the Provost, and the Office of Sponsored Programs. Support for the event was also provided by Morton Handel, a University regent, and Irma Handel.
