Rauche Presents at 2009 New York Sanjo Festival and Symposium

Anthony T. Rauche, associate professor of ethnomusicology and chair of the Department of Humanities, Hillyer College, was one of the presenters at the 2009 New York Sanjo Festival and Symposium: Korean Sanjo and Other Improvisational Traditions in Asia, held at the CUNY Graduate Center, October 19-20, 2009.
Rauche's paper, "Improvisation: Creative Process and Intellectual Practice," was among 10 invited papers delivered by American and Korean scholars.
The festival, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Republic of Korea, was directed by Dr. Ju-Yong Ha, an alumnus of the University of Hartford's Hartt School.
