Faculty Development Website Launched
Posted  11/3/2009
The following is a message to faculty from Fred Sweitzer, assistant provost and dean of faculty development.

I am pleased to announce the launching of the Faculty Development website (www.hartford.edu/facdev).

The site is intended to serve as a “one stop” vehicle for faculty members to learn about grants, workshops, and other resources available at the University and beyond, that support their development as teachers and scholars. In time, I hope it will also become a place where faculty members can share ideas, post questions, and participate in other ways in a teaching and scholarly community. Please visit the site and let me know what you think. The site will be updated frequently, and if you have ideas or items for the site, I’d love to hear them.

My thanks to Craig Campbell and others at the Office of Communication for helping to create the site.

Sincerely,

Frederick Sweitzer
Assistant Provost and Dean of Faculty Development
