Avinoam Patt, the Philip D. Feltman Professor of Modern Jewish History and assistant director of the Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies, will be the featured speaker in the November session of "First Thursdays: A Faculty Colloquium."

Patt will discuss his new book, Finding Home and Homeland: Jewish Youth and Zionism in the Aftermath of the Holocaust, on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., in the Woods Family Classroom in Mortenson Library.

"First Thursdays: A Faculty Colloquium" is a new lecture series established by the College of Arts and Sciences that focuses on recently published faculty books.

Feel free to bring your lunch, and the Arts and Sciences Dean's Office will provide light refreshments. The classroom only holds 36, so come early, grab a seat, and get ready for a terrific talk and lively conversation.
