Lou Manzione, dean of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA), was a presenter and a session chair at the recent American Society of Engineering Education Global Colloquium and Engineering Deans Conference in Budapest, Hungary (October 12-15).

Manzione had proposed and assembled a session of presentations on the topic of "Industrial Partnerships for Preparing Engineers for the 21st Global Economy."

The session featured speakers from United Technologies and Bell Laboratories, in addition to Dean Manzione's own paper to lead off the session. The papers focused on the changing processes for product development in the environment of global supply chains, and the ways these changes can be reflected in the engineering curriculum.
