'Be Part of It:' Ad Campaign Takes to the Streets
In the few seconds of attention the billboard receives, Hartford-bound commuters will learn three things: the university is building an Integrated Science, Engineering, and Technology (ISET) complex, they can "be part of it," and they can do so by supporting the University of Hartford.
The billboard is part of a nine-month advertising campaign that aims to raise awareness and build support for three high-visibility projects at the University of Hartford: the ISET complex, the Performing Arts Center, and the new athletics fields (Home Field Advantage).
“The 'Be Part of It' concept is designed to show our friends and neighbors that they, too, can be part of the excitement at the university and that their support is vital to our future,” says University President Walter Harrison.
The billboards will rotate through the beginning of next May. Complementary print ads will appear in program books for select shows at the Hartford Stage, Connecticut Opera and The Bushnell’s Broadway series.
