Sanders' HTML 5 Book Translated into Russian
Professor William Sanders of the Multimedia Web Design and Development program (MWDD) has learned that one of his books, Smashing HTML5, has been translated into Russian.
Since HTML5 has become available, it has changed a great many aspects of Web development, including the addition of tags for video and audio, among many other features.
In this translaton, even the screen shots were re-taken with Cyrillic substituted for the English. All of the translated program materials, including audio and video files from the original English version, were added as a CD-ROM rather than placed on the Web as was the original. Naturally, the University of Hartford and the Multimedia Web Design and Development program are all listed in Cyrillic as well.
Given the number of HTML5 books available, it is noteworthy to see one of our faculty member's books selected for the translation.
