Invitation to the International Symmetry Association Festival in The Netherlands
The following is a message from Professor of Physics Laurence Gould, chairman of the Executive Board of the International Symmetry Association.
The upcoming International Symmetry Association (ISA) Festival in Delft, The Netherlands, promises to be very exciting. In addition to having a Nobel Laureate in physics and a Nobel Laureate in chemistry giving keynote addresses, there will be a variety of symposia and recreational activities for our 2013 ISA Festival celebrating the many facets of symmetry.
The program is very interdisciplinary, with potential appeal for those in the creative arts (including painting, music, and dance) as well as for those in the sciences.
Please see the attached invitation letter from Gyuri Darvas and me. (Each link in the letter should open without difficulty but if that is not the case for your machine then copy and paste the link into your browser window.)
And please feel free to distribute the attached letter.
I hope to see you in Delft this August.
Laurence I. Gould, Professor of Physics
ISA Chairman of the Executive Board
