Student Film Festival on May 8 – Submit Your Work!
Attention all movie-lovers and filmmakers!
On Wednesday, May 8, the Reel Film Club and the University of Hartford's Cinema Department will be hosting a student film festival, sponsored by Spotlight Theatres in Hartford.
We want your film to be shown! If you made a movie during the 2012-13 academic year and want it displayed on the big screen, send an e-mail to email@example.com. You can submit any video work via Vimeo, Youtube, another website, on DVD, or as a .mov file. When you submit your film, please include the title, running time, genre (documentary, animation, comedy, etc.), and a one-sentence synopsis of the film. If you are submitting a DVD, you can drop it off outside Professor Margo Greenlaw's office at 108 Abrahms Hall. The deadline for submission is May 3 at 11:59 p.m. Due to time constraints, we can't promise to show every film that is submitted, but we will review each film that is submitted and get back to you right away.
Reel Fest 2013 will take place on Wednesday, May 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Spotlight Theatres, 39 Front Street, Hartford (see directions). This screening is free and open to the public. Drinks, popcorn, and other snacks will be available for purchase at the concession stand. Thanks to Spotlight Theatres for sponsoring Reel Fest 2013!
