Hartt Dances to Feature Classics and New Works
The Hartt School Dance Division will present Hartt Dances, a spectacular dance concert featuring both classics and new works, with a special offer of two free tickets for students, faculty, and staff.
Performances will take place on Friday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m., in Lincoln Theater.
Regular admission is $20, with discounts for seniors, students, and groups. University of Hartford students, faculty, and staff may obtain TWO free tickets for each UHart ID (instead of the usual one per ID). This spring’s spectacular main stage dance concert will feature the beloved Swan Lake suite, by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, restaged by Hilda Morales; The Winged, by José Limón, restaged by Nina Watt, with a new score by Lief Ellis; and three new works by guest choreographers Viktor Plotnikov, Gregory Dolbashian, and Loni Landon, with original score by Scott Comanzo.
