Senior Dance Concert: There Will Be Fire
There Will Be Fire
Presented by Seniors of the Hartt Dance Division
There Will Be Fire is an extraordinary collaborative performance. Five senior choreographers – Jane Cracovaner, Kristen DeLillo, Eryn Edwards, Tiffany Goudreau, and Brinna Weigel – and five composers – Brian Cook, Daniel Morel, Benjamin Park, Catherine Phang, and Jessica Rugani – all from The Hartt School, collaborated on five works which appear on the program.
Additionally, each senior dancer will perform a solo, commissioned from these outside artists: Jarek Cemerek, Brendan Duggan, John Heginbotham, Loni Landon, and Kat Pantos.
There Will Be Fire will be performed on Friday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 9, at both 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. All performances will be in the Roberts Theater at the Handel Performing Arts Center, located at 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.
Admission is free for University of Hartford students, faculty, and staff with valid University ID. General admission is $20. Discounts are available for seniors, students, and groups.
