Lunch & Learn with Marketing Executive for Sirius XM Satellite Radio
Dr. Kathie Mahoney, vice president of market research for Sirius XM Satellite Radio, will speak on "Media and Audience Trends" at a Lunch & Learn session on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Mali 2 auditorium (Dana 202).
The program, which is free and open to all, is sponsored by the Barney School chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Mahoney specializes in global media and technology attitudes and behaviors, mobile and smart phone trends, social media trend tracking and media branding. She has conducted and overseen all aspects of media research—ad sales, advertising ROI (return on investment), programming, strategic/new product, social media tracking tools, online usability, web analytics and syndicated metrics (MRI, Nielsen Net Rat-ings, Nielsen television ratings), and third party processing systems.
Prior to joining Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Mahoney held senior-level leadership positions with The New York Times, ABC, NBC’s Today Show and Frank Magid Associates. She also served as Chair of the Television and Radio Department in the School of Communications at Ithaca College.
Mahoney received her PhD in Mass Communication from Indiana University.
