Special Interest Housing
The Office of Residential Life is accepting applications for our Special Interest Housing (SIH) program for the 2012-13 academic year.
Special Interest Housing offers students the opportunity to create a unique and exciting living experience for themselves. This program provides students the chance to live together as a group around a common personal or academic-related theme. Participants live together around a shared goal, follow a set of beliefs, or have a similar passion.
Students who participate in this program get to live together with a group of students whom in most cases they not only know but who also have a shared interest or goal. You will also get to plan and participate in a variety of meetings, programs and other initiatives that are focused on your group’s specific theme. Students who apply and are accepted into the SIH program will not have to go through room selection and will be placed in a suite together in Regents Park.
Applications for the SIH program are due March 28, 2012.
The application and more information about the SIH program can be found at http://uhaweb.hartford.edu/reslife. If you have any questions, contact Torshia Maxwell at tmaxwell@hartford.edu or Shawn McQuillan at mcquillan@hartford.edu.
