Spectrum (LGBT)

A safe, nonjudgmental environment for people of all sexual and gender identities: Spectrum is an organization for bisexual, pansexual, gay, lesbian, transgender, asexual, questioning students, and their allies. Meetings are open to all. Come support and be supported!

Don’t have time for weekly meetings? Come to the big events: AIDS week, Rainbowfest Dance, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Mission: The mission of the Spectrum Club is to fully represent issues related to the needs of the University of Hartford gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning community. To provide support for all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning students in an understanding of equality in sexual orientation. To educate our community relating to social, political, and personal health issues surrounding sexuality, and sexual orientation. To become the representative voice of The University of Hartford in state and national gay-lesbian alliances. To facilitate cooperative relations with similar student groups on college campuses in the region.
