Biomedical Engineering Society - BMES

The purpose of BMES is to increase student’s awareness of different aspects of the Biomedical Engineering field and to network with other students and individuals from the industry. This shall be accomplished through group discussions, guest speakers, industry, hospital visits and job fairs.

Mission Statement: The purpose of the Biomedical Engineering Society at the University of Hartford is to expose students that are majoring/minoring in Biomedical Engineering to the various sub-fields of engineering that will be available to them in this field after college. The society strives to provide academic information, internship/co-op opportunities, curriculum options here at the University and research opportunities. The society also wants the members to connect on a social level with other members. We want to have a strong social connections between all members of the society.
