Late Opening on Wednesday, January 28

In the aftermath of the winter storm, the University of Hartford will open on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m.   snow closing guide

Until that time, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open normal hours for use by residential students only. Gengras Student Union and University Libraries remain closed until the University reopens Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Mechanical Engineering Technology

Program Director: Mark Orelup

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program with a major in the Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) will prepare students for technical careers in the engineering profession as well as for a wide range of other career paths such as business, management or education. The program focuses on testing, production and design implementation of electromechanical systems and processes. Graduates can work as members of multidisciplinary teams and and apply current engineering technologies to the solution of current and emerging technical problems.
