Barney School graduates tend to get great jobs. Suresh Thekkenmar, who earned his MBA from the Barney School in 1992, is a case in point.
Thekkenmar is Senior Vice President, Professional Services for SS&C Technologies, which has its headquarters in Windsor. SS&C provides a range of software solutions and services to the global financial industry. Altogether, their clients manage more than $16 trillion in assets.
Thekkenmar leads a team of 60 professionals and feels the job is perfect for him. “I work with great people, we have extremely prestigious customers, and the company has outstanding prospects for growth in the future. As a senior executive, I’m able to play a key role in driving that growth.”
Thekkenmar says he enjoyed his experiences at the Barney School. “They have small classes, exceptional professors and an interesting mix of students who bring a wide variety of perspectives to the classroom.”
He continues to be impressed with the students in the Barney School. “We’ve hired a number of Barney School graduates since I joined the firm in 1992, and we’ve been very impressed with their work,” he says.
“We continue to hire Barney School graduates today and we expect them to be an important part of our future growth.”
