Kayla Maitino Named Outstanding Auditing Student
The Southern New England Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors held its annual dinner for outstanding auditing students from area universities on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. The event was held in the Crystal Room of Mercy Hall on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut. Kayla M. Maitino, a senior majoring in accounting in the Barney School of Business, was the student from the University of Hartford who received the award.
The Institute of Internal Auditors is an international professional association and is the profession's global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. The IIA has more than 180,000 members globally.
Norberto Ramirez, CGAP, President of the SNEIIA presented Kayla's award to her at the dinner.
