MBA Concentration in Management

This is an ideal concentration for anyone with a desire to manage people and processes. Our Management concentration provides flexibility in selecting courses that emphasize general skills for enhancing the performance of people and organizations. Whether you are initially hired into a technical position with aspirations to advance, have been promoted into a higher position with management responsibility, or are considering management consulting at some point in your career, this concentration provides opportunities to enhance your individual skill sets in managing individuals, teams, and organizations. In so doing you hone your expertise in leading an organization’s most important assets – its people.

Students enrolled in the Barney School MBA program can earn a Management concentration by completing three graduate level management courses (9 credit hours). The three courses will count toward the three elective course MBA requirement.  Commonly offered management courses include:
