MBA Concentration in Finance

Financial skills are in demand in all industries. This concentration is essential for those who desire to acquire knowledge about how firms make financial decisions and how these decisions affect individual organizations and society as a whole. In addition to studying relevant trends and current issues, you are exposed to foundational level knowledge in the world of finance.

Students enrolled in the Barney School MBA program can earn a Finance concentration by completing three graduate level finance courses (9 credit hours). The three courses will count toward the three elective course MBA requirement.  Commonly offered finance courses include:
