MBA Concentration in Business Analytics

Today’s technology produces huge volumes of data. Businesses everywhere are focusing on how to properly organize, evaluate and use data to solve problems and identify opportunities that give their organization a competitive advantage. Building analytic models, creating scenarios, and predicting future states are but some of the exciting intellectual activities you are exposed to in business analytics.

Students enrolled in the Barney School MBA program can earn a BusinessAnalytics concentration by completing three courses (9 credit hours) one required and two electives. The three courses will count toward the three elective course MBA requirement.  Students will complete:

  • QNT 712 Introduction to Analytics (required)
  • QNT 720 Business Forecasting (elective)
  • QNT 730 Business Data Mining (elective)
  • QNT 750 Predictive Modeling (elective)
