Today’s technology produces huge volumes of data. Businesses everywhere are focusing on how to properly organize, evaluate and use data to solve problems and identify opportunities that give their organization a competitive advantage.  Building analytic models, creating scenarios, and predicting future states are but some of the exciting intellectual activities you are exposed to in business analytics.

Students who have a graduate business degree from an accredited institution can apply to attend the Barney School of Business to earn a specialized certificate in Business Analytics by completing four courses (12 credit hours).

  • QNT 601- Managerial Statistics and Analytics - prerequisite
  • QNT 712 Introduction to Analytics
  • QNT 720 Business Forecasting
  • QNT 730 Business Data Mining 

Each of the courses utilizes SAS Institute® software and tools. Upon completing these four courses, you will also earn a certificate in Data Mining Using SAS® jointly offered by the Barney School of Business and the SAS® Institute
