Our Career Focused Business Education for undergraduate students equips them with the skills needed to be successful business leaders. We provide the knowledge, one-on-one faculty attention, and hands-on guidance they need to pursue rewarding and successful careers. All students are required to complete an internship as part of their Career Focused Business Education.
Barney students gain an in-depth understanding of business through their internship requirement. The Barney School internship program has been in existence since 2001 with our students repeatedly receiving outstanding evaluations from their internship supervisors. The internship is the student’s opportunity for first-hand involvement in the business environment. Under the guidance of a faculty advisor and on-site internship supervisor, students apply their skills and gain real-world experience.
