Jim Peta is a part time faculty member in the department of Economics specializing in quantitative methods. He received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from the University of Hartford in 1969. He has taught as an Adjunct at the University of Hartford since 1973.

Business Experience Mr. Peta has over 40 years as a business manager in the industrial sector of business. He has held positions as Vice President of Production for Pioneer Steel Ball, Manager of Manufacturing Operations for Thomson Precision Ball and most recently as a Senior Product Manager for Danaher.
