The Campus Store is located in the Harry Jack Gray Center. It carries textbooks, office supplies, discounted software, clothing, mugs, other items with the University logo, snacks, and health and beauty supplies. See current hours. For a more convenient option, textbooks, software, and logo items can also be purchased through the online bookstore and delivered right to your door. The following dining spots are those that are available for part-time students, located near academic buildings and/or are open during evening hours.
Gengras Café: Located on the main floor of the Gengras Student Union, the Gengras Café serves hot meals, sandwiches, salads, deserts, and beverages. Current hours
Starbucks at Goodwin Café: Located just inside the entrance to Harrison University Libraries in the Harry Jack Gray Center, you will find the full and familiar lineup of beverages, bakery goods, and sandwiches from the world's largest specialty coffee chain. Current hours
Subway: Located an easy walk or short drive away from the academic side of campus in Konover Campus Center, this location of the popular international sandwich chain is open more than 14 hours each weekday during the academic year. Current hours
The Hawk's Nest: Located in the bottom level of University Commons on the other side of the pedestrian bridge that connects the academic and residential sides of campus, this evening eatery offers pizza, wings, wraps, and more. Current hours
Note: After 7 p.m., there are no open food vendors on the academic side of campus. Subway and The Hawk's Nest, as listed above, are alternative options elsewhere on campus.

Since the University of Hartford is a residential campus, it is very unusual for daytime classes to be cancelled due to weather. The decision to cancel evening classes is typically made by 3 p.m. and is posted on the website.

Located on the second floor of the Computer Center and Administration Building. This office responds to inquiries for information on graduate programs, the Bachelor of University Studies Program, the Paralegal Studies Program and the Arts and Sciences Certificate Programs. Center staff members also assist non-matriculated graduate and undergraduate students with registration issues and application procedures. The Harrison Libraries consist of the general collections in the Mortensen Library and the music and dance collection in the Allen Library. Both are located in the Harry Jack Gray Center.

The University's Department of Public Safety is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Public safety officers patrol the campus regularly and are available to assist students in need with escort services, loan of jumper cables, and other safety- and traffic-related issues.
