This fall we're inviting alumni to raise the anchor and sail their way back to campus. The Homecoming 2008 theme is "Come Sail Away", and we have a weekend of exciting activities planned with something for everyone.
Plans are still coming together, but the weekend will include:
Friday night
Casino at Sea
Hawk dollars will be flying Friday night as we kick off the weekend with our Casino at Sea. Help yourself to a tropical drink and try your luck at any of the numerous table games, you may go home with one of the many fabulous raffle prizes that will be given away.
Saturday
Alumni Artisans Marketplace
Alumni will be selling handmade items including jewelry, pottery, photographs and much more. Table spaces are currently available for interested alumni. Please complete our online registration form to request table space
Alumni Musicians Spotlight
The afternoon will be filled with music as alumni take the stage on the Harry Jack Gray lawn. Please contact the Homecoming committee chair, Nat Kennedy ’66 for more information on this event.
Anchor Awards Dinner and Ceremony
The University will honor two alumni from each school/college with the Anchor Award. Nominations are now being accepted, learn more about the award criteria on the Anchor Awards webpage.

Students of the Hartt School will be performing Carousel throughout the weekend and the Music for a Change program will have Buskin & Batteau & Tom Rush Friday evening, and Aztec Two Step Saturday evening.
Sunday
Celebrate the Decades
Celebration jazz brunch for the 50th Reunion, plus decades, plus the ever important 25th
1958, 1968, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1998. Want to help rally your class for this event? Contact Kandyce Aust, Director of Alumni Relations, for more details.
