Hawktober Weekend

save the date for hawktober weekend 2018, october 19–21, 2018

Hawktober Weekend is the University of Hartford's annual homecoming and parents weekend. Join the many alumni who return to campus for the largest reunion of the year, reunite with classmates, and relive fond memories. Maybe Hawktober wasn't a tradition when you were at UHart, but it sure is now.

While Hawktober is open to ALL alumni, each year we celebrate classes and affinities that have reached special milestones.

This year, 3's and 8's classes will be celebrated at Reunion Row! These classes will reunite over food, drinks, and yard games: 2018, 2013, 2008, 2003, 1998, 1993, and 1988.

Affinity is a shared experience, identity or background, organization or academic affiliation, profession, or other related interest. At Hawktober 2018, we'll celebrate the following affinities:

  • Greek Life
  • Jewish Student Life
  • SGA (Student Government Association)
  • Red Caps
  • Red Keys
  • RFAs (Resident Facilities Assistant)
  • RAs (Resident Assistant)

Don't see your affinity on the list, and want to help organize a reunion for your group? Contact us at alumni@hartford.edu.

Hawktober Weekend is an excellent time for families to join their child on campus and learn more about their college experience. Hear an update from President Gregory Woodward, check-in with Career Services, and find out more about study-abroad oportunities for your student.

Students can celebrate an important UHart tradition and share their life at UHart with their family. Hawktober Week, leading up to the weekend, is a time students can show their school spirit and participate in some of the University's most beloved traditions like Bakin' Like A Boss, the Nearly Naked Mile, the Bonfire, and First Flight.
