Director of Career/Mentoring

Maureen Fulton Leathers '05"The University’s strong local business connections played an important role in introducing me to my first job at The Hartford—and I haven’t looked back since that first day more than a decade ago. Serving on the Alumni Board is an excellent way for me to contribute to the University’s network and help future generations take the first step in building rewarding careers of their own."

COMMUNITY SERVICE
My volunteerism reflects my passions for fast (classic) cars and apparently fast dogs, too. I am the PR Officer for the Valley Collector Car Club, a non-profit organization that fosters auto enthusiasm through charitable and other community events. In addition, my husband and I adopt retired greyhounds, and so we also support Connecticut Greyhound Adoption, the Connecticut Chapter of Greyhound Pets of America.
