Proving Financial Support

You must provide proof of financial support before we can create your I-20 for any undergraduate degree program. 

What do you need to submit proof of financial support?
 
You will need to present proof of financial support in ONE of the following four ways: 

  1. Guarantor's Statement of Financial Support.  This must be signed by you and your sponsor and dated within 6 months of your intended semester at the University of Hartford (March 1, 2017, for Spring / January 2018). First year or transfer students, please choose THIS FORM.  Visiting or exchange students, please choose THIS FORM.

  2. Statement of accounts from your sponsor’s bank indicating an amount equal to or greater than the dollar amount stated on the 2017-18 Cost of Attendance under Total Required for I-20. This statement must be presented on stationary from your parents/sponsor's bank/lending institution.

  3. Letter of Support (on bank letterhead) indicating a balance equal to or greater than the dollar amount stated on the 2017-18 Cost of Attendance under Total Required for I-20. This letter should identify the account holder and his relationship to you.

  4. Students from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or UAE – Please provide a letter from your sponsor confirming that you will be receiving a government sponsored scholarship through SACM, The Kuwait Cultural Division or The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates

*If you have been selected to receive a University Scholarship please subtract this amount from the total cost of attendance.
